I had worked for a Govenment Project that had aimed for making 'creative commercial products out of Cow Dung'
The organisation is Govigyan Anusandhan Kendra , situated in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Cow Dung is vastly available in India and in this organisation, the team dealt with making medicinal products out of cow's urine and poop.
They have lots of cows and hence a lot of waste is generated. They approached me to make some creative daily life objects that can be sold commercially.
After making the cow dung cake ( removal of waste and then drying it in sun by making cow dung cakes.) , I , made the surface free from all the hard substances and rubbed it with sand paper and hence achieved a clean and smooth surface,
I then applied several layers of fevicol on the surface to get a glossy look.
Now, my basic form was achieved.
I then made several patterns on the surface and painted them.

The Cowdung covered mud pots are very well made and finished. They keep the water cooler for a longer period of time.
