PRAYAAS - SERVICE DESIGN
The Social innovation project for
“DESIGN FOR EQUALITY: CASE STUDY CITY GANDHINAGAR"
was studied from a macro to micro perspective.
The system in place was studied thoroughly from the social entrepreneurship point of view where an opportunity of service-based business for para-sports can bring a smart development in an urban context.
“PRAYAAS” is a unique Platform of work in collaboration with Sports Authority of India, Gandhinagar trial run by the students to empower differently-abled population in the city and encourage them for para-sports and assist them to know their potentials.The service generated awareness about para-sports among differently-abled people, bringing them out of their cocoon and encouraging them to participate in para-sports, making the service of classification accessible to them and elevating them to play para-sports at various national and international level and support them with financial support.
The organization “PRAYAAS” motto was to values guide the potential para talents in the city bringing in the subject experts, Para-Olympic players bring in the value for self.
